lyrics
They call it selfish but someone's gotta put their foot forward. Make a move before they close the door. Evolve and adapt. It's what makes your cut above. First think, then react, helps keep the ground a glove. I started out as a scab, hell bent on anarchy. Now I've got a clue where I'm at and that I could potentially hold the key to my own happiness. It just comes down to when I decide to cut the ties, leaving everything in the dust and told not to look back fore when the missing starts, you'll resort to becoming an emotional hypochondriac. So focus on your goals and not their doubts. They'll try to halt everything you've ever dreamt about. It's your duty and your fucking obligation to get to where you wanna go, sharing inspiration. I go on tangents but sometimes I cosine. Guess it's how I cope with everything in my grasp that's been denied. With a grain of salt you'd say, that's how I've taken the past few days. But this migraine's spent and I'm well passed lit, welcoming the haze. Time is not waiting for me and it's about they see. Everything I want is so damn close. Time to decide what means the most. I don't mean to impose but I am the ocean. I will consume everything you know and I will flood your lifeless boats. In the wake of everything I've done lies a path I've only just begun. I'll show myself my dreams are not forlorn and as I've done before, I'll brave the storm.
